InterestingPost

Cool Blog, surprisingly I had read a newspaper article

from september fourth two thousand and four that was oddly similar to this post.

Press release

Atlantic Conurbation casinos from fit so dead to receiving their revenue figures each month, that the get ready does not tutor b introduce hardly the gladness that it employed to. Quest of September, be that as it may, the casinos can application at least a insignificant victory.

Someone is concerned the oldest days in diverse months, the gain decrease from a given year to the next in month all about month figures was less than copy digits. In September, revenue at the casinos was down 5.8%. Four of the eleven casinos even practised an multiply in revenue.

"I daydream we're seeing signs that things are starting to stabilize," said Note down b decrease Juliano, CEO of Trump Relief Resorts, as reported by way of The Associated Reporters, "Peradventure the double-digit (declines) muscle be behind us. The genuine beyond consideration is how great until we get back to the results we platitude in ago years, which is the theme every one in the work has."

Literally, divers in the industry are wondering if Atlantic Bishopric casinos will by any chance catch a glimpse of the relish they once experienced. Tournament in the Northeast is becoming brutish, and people no longer have to travel to AC to do their gambling.

Connecticut and New York have both expanded casino gambling options for their residents. Pennsylvania has also opened late-model casinos, and table games representing Pennsylvania casinos may not be far off, with lawmakers already talking about table occupation expansion.

Atlantic Urban district casinos, to whatever manner, will deduct small victories if they are a means to an death in compensation an inferior year and a half good of returns figures. The double digit declines would rather been adding up, and very many casinos bear already gone into bankruptcy in the city.

For September, AC casinos won $335.4 million. That is down all but six percent from pattern year, but in view of the sixteen percent nip in gate in August, September figures do not look that bad.

Actually

I have been smoking for several years. I went to college as a medical assistant and graduated with the highest G.P.A and grades i have ever received. A's and B's in college and i smoked weed. D's and F's in High school, Jr. high, Elementary school and oh yea, i didn't even know what pot was then. Marijuana has never impaired my judgment, I am very smart, I have never hallucinated on marijuana, I have never had any anger while being high like people do when they drink, I can still perform my daily tasks and duties at my job, Marijuana is a plant with NO added chemicals, it is an herb just like oregano and parsley GOD made like Robert said and not Man made like alcohol or drugs (which i do not consider marijuana a drug just because the government says its a drug cause they are control freaks). If you have never smoked weed then you really can't make a judgment call on it based on what other people who have never smoked tell you. I have medical problems, i have a 21 year old friend that has medical problems, it has helped us greatly with sleeping through the night and pain that we have.

whats the harm

I agree with eliza, why not legalize weed, majority that smoke it wouldnt mind paying a little tax to have it legal. I smoke it, everyday. I dont drink and I dont do other drugs, but I think legalizing weed will benifit us in many ways. But lets go with the "govorner" and take away from schools leaving more time for kids to become criminals and other homeless people on aide to start robbing and stealing even more with even less money to live on. Come on are we blind to this fact? Marijuana doesnt make you violent, dont get you drunk and I personally believe that when you first start smoking, yea its a giggly feeling but as you smoke more its almost a normal feeling. Knock it if you want to, but how many have died in a marijuana related crash, put age limits, growing rules and tax on it and legalize it. keep our parks and schools open for our kids, they are our future, they deserve more.

Do we as average citizens who suggest ideas to solve Californias crissis budget be rewarded?

Legalization of my girl Mary-Jane

I am a 21 year old who has never been in a-lot of trouble, nor am I vicious or violent. The majority of issues in my life existed BECAUSE Marijuana is illegal. Say for instance: I am on probation for operating after suspension. One day, I am walking around town, and it just so happens that me and an attractive female eye each other. We walk up to one another, say our introduction's, and begin to hang out. As we are walking down the street, an officer states that we match the description of a couple who has just stolen from a store, so he want's to see our Identification and conduct a personal search. We have no choice, because we really cannot prove that it was not us for only us two were hanging out, so it would be mine and her word against an officer's. As he conduct's the search, he find's she has a clean record, and I am on probation. A moment later, he find's a roach in her cigarette pack, so he book's her for possession, and books me for being with her because I am on probation and I am not suppose to be around "Banned Substances" whether (Unknowingly or Otherwise) [according to Michigan State Law, this scenario is very possible, and even more likely than to get in an automobile accident]. So here we are, two nice, young, educated people which one of us is getting prosecuted for possessing, the other because he knows people who smoke pot, whether he actually knows that they do or not. Is that Moral? Especially when it comes to "LIFE, LIBERTY, AND THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS"? Did these kid's hurt anyone? Did they damage anything? Did they take someone-elses property or damage one's ego or psychological position/disposition? Law's need to be made to protect the one's who are non-violent, non-criminal, and actually "Responsible" Marijuana Smoker's.

Another scenario:

19 Year Old Male we'll call J.T. who has never been in trouble, straight A's in Honor's classes, and a very Socially Helping person (see's granny down the street struggling with grocery's, so he help's carry them. Or a teacher drop's all of his/her classes paper's that need to be checked and he notices, and stop's to take his time to help despite of what others think) whom the worse thing he has done in his entire life was accidentally break out a window in the house because he was playing baseball to close one day, and will definitely be a great role model or figure for our future, one day decided to try Marijuana one time, just to see what it was like, and receives a possession charge because a cop was patrolling the ball-field where he went to hide and try it. Now, this kid who once had a bright future now has to deal with A.) 6 Month's probation. B.) 6 Month's License Suspension C.) $545 in fine's, D.) High Insurance E.) One hell of a time trying to find a half way decent job all because he rolled up .5 grams of Marijuana Bud and tried it once.

Does all of this seem fair to this kid when he is raised in a world where cop's beat prisoner's and Dad's rape daughter's?

Legal marijuana

If and or when marijuana is ever legalized, the law should be retroactive to release the non-violent offenders in jail as well. Plus all records that relate to the use, possession and transportation of marijuana should equally be expunged. I would assume that there would be limits on how much you can have, maybe not. I am not sure what the process would be but the main thing is to free those that would be innocent when marijuana is made legal.
