Even on the 140-acre farm in rural Iowa, the LeClere family does not feel safe from the threat of terrorism.
Firefighter and farmer Doug worries that the nuclear power plant 20 miles away could be a terrorist target.
Then there's the fear of poisoned seed corn, or a sharp drop in commodity prices that could affect their income.
"They're going to hit again and catch us off guard," he says. "They're not going to give up. It's hard to compete against
someone who has no value on life."
WHERE WERE YOU ON SEPTEMBER 11th? -- "I saw the first tower in flames on the firehouse TV. I saw the second plane and thought, 'That's getting awful close.' "
HOW HAS 9/11 CHANGED YOUR LIFE? -- "When I was a kid, I knew I was loved but was never told so. So now I make it a point to tell my kids I love them more."
